Sarajevo International Airport purchased the most sophisticated vehicle for transport and embarkation of disabled persons on board aircraft

In order to provide adequate service to passengers with reduced mobility, Sarajevo International Airport purchased a special vehicle - Ambulift. It is a special vehicle for embarkation and disembarkation of persons with reduced mobility, persons in wheelchairs and stretchers which enables a safe and cosy access to a passenger cabin in all types of aircraft.
The employees who will operate this vehicle have been successfully trained, too.
Ambulift has fastening systems using rails for securing the wheelchairs and several folding seats to accommodate other passengers and escorts.
In general the infrastructure of Sarajevo International Airport is adjusted to needs of persons with reduced mobility, and this vehicle will enable a complete service to persons with reduced mobility, in accordance with best global standards, what is our priority and obligation.
